Calonge is situated on the Costa Brava, in the province of Girona at a few kilometres distance from Palamos and  Palafrugell. The towns of Calonge and Sant Antoni de Calonge are still hardly known by the foreign tourists.
Sant Antoni  de Calonge is situated at a driving distance of about one hour and fifty minutes away from the French border.  It’s  situated south of Cap de Begur ( 20 km ), north  of  Sant Feliu de Guixols (16 km ) and 45 km from  Girona.  It’s  divided  into two parts :  Sant Antoni de Calonge,  being the coast with large sand beaches and Calonge,  being the historical centre with a medieval castle.

In the direction of  Palamos , you’ll encounter the beach of  Es Monestri , which runs through into the beach of Sant Antoni and the promenade ( Passeig del Mar ). Playa D’aro consists of a large main street with many shops selling renown brands, small streets with little shops selling trinkets (gadgets), many small restaurants and a spacious beach. The shops are open throughout the year. Even the golf lovers can indulge themselves, there are several golf courses in the direct vicinity.
